Keep reading. \n\nThe Data Steward is responsible for ensuring the quality, consistency, and governance of enterprise data assets. This role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams by defining data standards, validating data accuracy, maintaining business metadata, and supporting data governance initiatives.The Data Steward works closely with business process owners, data engineers, analysts, and application teams to ensure data is reliable, well-documented, and aligned with business requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform ongoing data quality assessments to identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and missing information.\n\nValidate data across reports, dashboards, databases, and source systems.\n\nMonitor data quality metrics and recommend corrective actions.\n\nReconcile data between ERP, CRM, data warehouse, and other enterprise systems.\n\nAssist in executing periodic data audits and validation exercises.\n\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to support the development, documentation, and enforcement of enterprise data governance policies.\n\nDocument data lineage, ownership, definitions, and usage guidelines.\n\nEnsure metadata remains current as systems, processes, and reporting requirements evolve.\n\nSupport users in understanding available data assets and business definitions.\n\nMaintain documentation for enterprise KPIs, metrics, and reporting calculations.\n\nAssist in governance reviews of critical reports and dashboards.\n\nServe as a trusted resource for data-related questions and definitions.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n2-5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business systems, master data management, or a related discipline.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n\nExperience working with business data and reporting processes.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.\n\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\n\nExperience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Dynamics, SyteLine, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems in a manufacturing environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with data governance principles and frameworks.\n\nExperience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.\n\nBasic SQL knowledge and understanding of relational databases.\n\nKnowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts.\n\nExperience documenting business processes and data definitions.\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\nThere's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
