Keep reading.\nBenchmark is seeking a talented Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to contribute to company success by developing leads, establishing productive customer relationships, building, and closing business to achieve targeted sales goals. Successful candidates will demonstrate an entrepreneurial and positive attitude combined with the appropriate technical and inter-personal skills. They will be a motivated self-starter, with a strong desire to achieve personal and professional growth. The RSM will have a solutions selling approach to customer projects and be comfortable working in a team selling environment in support of closing business.\nSales and Business Development:\nIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through research, cold outreach, networking, and industry events.\nConduct customer visits to explore growth potential and increase sales.\nAssess customer needs and propose customized product solutions.\nPrepare and deliver technical and commercial proposal\nCustomer Relationship Management:\nServe as the main point of contact for distributors and end users.\nResolve customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.\nAssist with logistics, customs processes, order tracking, and delivery coordination.\nThoroughly document all customer details and sales progress in Salesforce CRM.\nTechnical Support:\nGuide customers in the design, installation, and setup of transverse jaws for packaging machines.\nTroubleshoot sealing issues and recommend performance improvements.\nCollaborate with the internal engineering team for product modifications and design approvals.\nInternal Coordination & Administration\nCommunicate customer feedback to engineering and production to ensure timely deliveries.\nAssist with administrative duties such as invoicing and documentation.\nCoordinate with logistics to meet customer-specific shipping and delivery requirements.\nIf this sounds like you, we want to connect!\n2-5 years in technical support, maintenance, or roles related to packaging machinery (e.g., horizontal/vertical form-fill-seal machines, transverse jaws).\nSolid understanding of packaging machine components and mechanical systems.\nAbility to interpret and validate technical drawings; CAD experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is an asset.\nAbility to accurately measure and document mechanical components.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with sealing issues.\nExcellent communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.\nEffective liaison between clients and internal departments\nSelf-motivated and comfortable with frequent travel (50% +/-).\nWhat’s in it for you?\nThere's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
