Keep reading.\nFederal is looking for a Technical Writer to create, develop, write, and edit material for manuals, reports, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications.\nAre you passionate about this work?\nWrite and edit technical documents including reference manuals and product manuals.\nWrite and edit procedural documentation such as user guides and one page lessons.\nRevise published materials based on redlines and recommended revisions from supervisor or others.\nWork under the supervisor's direction to obtain necessary information for daily tasks.\nCreate parts and operational manual for legacy equipment using bill of materials, assembly drawings and research.\nRevise manuals when conversions or upgrades occur.\nGather feedback from customers, engineers, manufacturing, and field service to improve technical documents.\nAssess the audience needs for whom the technical and procedural documentation is intended; adjusts tone and technical terms used to meet those needs and to ensure understanding.\nHelp revise Power Point Presentations for management within ProMach.\nOrganize material and completes documentation assignment according to set standards regarding timeline, order, clarity, style, and terminology.\nTake video footage of each machine running in a simulated production mode, prior to machine shipment.\nTake photographs of equipment on shop floor for record keeping and documentation purposes.\nCreate machine-specific videos based on individual requests from the Sales or Marketing Department; these videos can include graphics, design work, audio, as well as narration.\nSupport other Company initiatives such as team boards, 5S documentation, and safety video editing.\nUpdate and record all machine checklists including the electrical data sheets supplied by Manufacturing; maintain records and files of work following ProMach standards and procedures.\nWhat‘s in it for you?\nThere's no monopoly on good ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
