If you are energized by providing best-in-class customer experiences and strive for advanced technical skills, we want to talk to you.\nAs a Test Technician, you will be responsible for in house commissioning, troubleshooting and final testing of our full product line consisting of Texwrap, Tekkra and SRX systems. You will collaborate with the service and engineering department to continuously improve the Texwrap, Tekkra and SRX product lines and deliver a quality product to the customer.\nTroubleshoot, identify root causes, and solve operational issues associated with shrink wrap and bundling machinery in house and at customer locations.\nFinalize any open assembly tasks (mechanical/electrical) prior to internal FAT (Factory Acceptance Test). \nInstallation and startup of systems, including systems integration with other OEM equipment in the field.\nTrain appropriate personnel in the field and in-house on proper setup, operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.\nPerform extensive mechanical and electrical modifications including PLC program modifications, kit installations and servo drive reconfigurations.\nSubmit reports on machine and system installations, warranty repairs, overall performance levels, problems, and product improvement or enhancement opportunities to the service manager for follow up.\nSubmit accurate and timely expense and time reports.\nCommunicate daily with the service coordinator to ensure all field issues at hand are completed and approved by the customer.\nWhat‘s in it for you?\nThere's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team. Experience must include extensive Allen-Bradley PLC, servo, and HMI programming.\nA 2-year degree or certificate in Industrial Automation or Industrial Electronics is highly desired.\nExperience with Allen Bradley, Emerson and Hitachi VFDs.\nExperience with Red Lion HMIs and Temperature controllers.\nExperience with Solid works and E Drawings.\nPrevious experience with packaging equipment and conveyor systems preferred.\nTravel experience preferred. \nSolid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components.\nStrong communication skills, both written and oral.\nAllen-Bradley Compact Logix/MicroLogix programming/editing capabilities\nAllen Bradley Panel View HMI programming/editing capabilities\nFamiliarity with servo systems and motion controls, particularly Allen-Bradley, is a strong advantage.\nTravel up to 25% and weekends when necessary.\nKnown as the industry innovator, Texwrap holds patents on some of the most significant breakthrough technologies in the shrink wrapping and bundling business.
