Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating with talented deployment teams on real products?\nIf so, Promet Source may be the place for you.\nPromet Source is a Chicago-based web development company seeking a part-time remote Project Manager to work up to 20 hours per week with an hourly rate of $50-70 to join our established team of Drupal professionals.\nAbout the Role\nThe Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This role reports to the PMO. This role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and experience leading technical teams.\nProjects may include new development initiatives as well as ongoing support and maintenance engagements, requiring comfort switching between build-focused and support-oriented workflows.\nDuties/Responsibilities\nProject Planning\nResponsible for project execution coming to completion at or under budget\nResponsible for keeping internal and external stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and milestones weekly or more frequently as needed\nAssigns and recommends resources for assigned projects\nForecasts resource allocation on a quarterly basis\nIdentifies and documents project requirements at the start of each project\nMaintains the first point of contact for customer stakeholders\nReviews development work, ticket progress, keeps project tracking software up to date\nResponsible to keep the project team focused and unblocked from obstacles when possible; this may include getting answers to questions in a timely manner, documenting needs, updating tickets, and more\nAssist with maintenance and creation of internal process and other wiki documentation\nBuild strong relationships with clients\nProject Budgeting\nCreate and approve monthly project invoices\nDevelop project budgets, monitor and track budgets against pre-sales estimates for individual projects\nForecast project budget and timeline changes well in advance and inform stakeholders of any changes\nProject Account Growth\nIdentify upsells: identify valuable additional work to perform for client account\nSales support: assist with project management related questions and demonstrations\nBuild strong relationships with clients\nAbout Promet Source\nWe are a technology firm delivering web development solutions with ongoing support. We are deeply committed to open-source solutions and provide managed services for Drupal-based websites, products, and applications.\nQualifications\nMinimum 5 years of project management experience specifically on website/web development projects (not general software or IT project management)\nExperience working with a CMS in an agency setting\nBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business administration or a related field\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nHighly motivated, independent self-starter\nExperience developing project budgets, tracking expenses, coaching teams, and improving processes\nSolid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices\nProven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management\nWorking knowledge of web accessibility standards and how to apply them in practice\nExperience working part-time and remote\nExperience or certification in web accessibility is a strong plus\nMust be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.\nPromet Source is an equal opportunity employer.
