The Associate Instructional Designer supports WLH learning solution needs across a team of life sciences professionals and the Instructional Designer of Life Sciences. This role focuses on designing a range of learning solutions for life sciences clients and internal project needs, including learning solution development and production, design ideation, and basic internal consulting on learning solution options. Agility and flexibility are important, since this role works across different types of learning solutions and offers the opportunity to build additional design skills in the life sciences. Occasional hours beyond 40 per week may be needed depending on projects and deliverables.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop learning solutions for life sciences clients and internal projects, including live training, workshops, virtual training, eLearning, and media.\nCreate, update, and maintain learning materials such as presentations, workflow diagrams, run-of-show agendas, storyboards, and scripts.\nBuild eLearning content using authoring tools such as gomo learning or Articulate Rise and Storyline.\nContribute to design ideation and provide basic internal consulting on learning solution options.\nManage multiple tasks, track project status, and work on a variety of design and learning projects, both independently and as part of a small team.\nCollaborate with team members from a range of backgrounds, including pharma, life sciences, project management, design, technology, and business development.\nManage and archive project files across a variety of formats.\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications\nDesign experience creating resources for live training, workshops, virtual training, eLearning, and media.\nAbility to write and edit scripts and storyboards for different types of learning solutions.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, and comfort working with graphics and media files (mp3, mp4, jpeg, png).\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.\nClear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues from different backgrounds.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBackground in teaching, facilitating, training, or instruction.\nExperience supporting life sciences or pharmaceutical clients.\nExperience with eLearning development, using gomo learning or Articulate Rise / Storyline, strongly preferred.\nBenefits\nWLH Consulting and Learning Solutions is dedicated to hiring the best and brightest minds in healthcare and maintaining a culture that rewards our employees for following their passion.\nWe are excited to offer the following benefits for this position:\nCompetitive compensation models (salaried options) \nSigning bonus for every role \nRemote-first culture with flexible scheduling and no relocation requirement \nComprehensive medical coverage with 50% of employee premiums covered \nFlexible prescription services and 24/7 virtual care access \n401(k) with a 3% employer match \nGenerous paid time off for salaried team members to rest and recharge, including paid holidays and 2+ religious holidays (as applicable and with pre-approval required) \nEmployment Eligibility\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
