If you know of someone else how would be a great fit, let us know!\nRequirements\nAs a member of our Epic Consulting team, you’ll work closely with our customers to implement and optimize their Epic workflows. In addition to your Epic project work, you will help mentor and grow our customer’s teams, escalate issues, and guide projects to a successful outcome.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform Epic-related consulting and advisory services in support of a Cogito environment migration to the cloud, including but not limited to the following:\nLead technical execution of the Cogito data model migration from on-premise to a cloud-hosted environment (e.g., Microsoft Azure), including Caboodle and Clarity data structures.\nValidate data integrity, report parity, and performance benchmarks between the legacy on-premise environment and the new cloud platform.\nApply technical expertise to implement and optimize EMR workflows and data capture within the Cogito data model.\nDesign, build, and troubleshoot reports and dashboards using Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, and RW SQL against cloud-hosted Cogito data.\nOptimize SQL development and reporting workflows for cloud infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.\nMentor customers to up-level their system knowledge and analyst skills on both Cogito reporting tools and the new cloud environment.\nAnalyze operational and business requirements and translate them into system configuration and cloud data architecture decisions.\nCreate build documentation, data flow diagrams, and migration runbooks.\nTrack and resolve project risks and issues, including migration-specific risks (data loss, downtime, report cutover).\nLead meetings and participate in ongoing work-product coordination across BI, infrastructure, and customer teams.\nTransparently report on project status, migration milestones, and deliverables.\nDevelop robust knowledge transfer documentation to hand off the migrated environment and reporting suite to customer teams.\nAdditional duties as may be required to successfully deliver the migration project.\nMay be invited to participate in corporate functions, events, and meetings.\nDesired Qualifications\nActive Certification(s): Cogito Data Model, Cogito Tools\nHands-on experience with Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, and RW SQL\nExperience migrating Epic Cogito/Caboodle/Clarity environments to a cloud platform (Azure preferred)\n5+ years of experience as a BI developer\nStrong SQL development skills, including performance tuning in cloud data warehouse environments\nEpic implementation and optimization experience\nFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure concepts (cost management, security/compliance for PHI in the cloud, environment provisioning) a plus\nDemonstrated ability to deliver successful projects remotely\nSuccess Criteria\nSuccessful team members at Prominence display the following:\nHigh degree of professionalism; treats others with respect, keeps commitments, builds trust within a team, works with integrity, and upholds organizational values. \nHighly organized; able to manage multi-faceted work streams.\nSelf-motivated; able to maintain schedule, meet deadlines, and monitor your personal work product.\nHighly adaptable; able to acclimate quickly to new project assignments and work environments. \nCreative; not paralyzed by problems and able to work collaboratively to find novel solutions.\nClear communication skills; ability to clearly convey messaging that resonates with your audience, in clear and concise written and verbal communications.\nCan smell smoke and anticipate issues before they arise, ability to escalate effectively.\nPassion to mentor and guide others.\nHours Worked\nThis is a Full Time, 40 hour per week position.\nThis role is part of our active pipeline for upcoming client engagements and is contingent on project availability, with timing aligned to client demand.\nBenefits\nProminence is dedicated to hiring the best and brightest minds in healthcare and maintaining a culture that rewards our employees for following their passion.
