Backed by premier VC firms, Promise is shaping a new era in GenAI-powered storytelling, where creativity knows no limits.\nJob Title: Product Manager\nLocation: Los Angeles, CA (On-site)\nEmployment Type: Full-time\nStart Date: Immediate\nReports to: Senior Director of Product\nRole Overview\nAs Product Manager, you turn the direction and priorities set by the Senior Director of Product into clear requirements, a working backlog, and work that ships. You work daily with engineering, make the day-to-day product calls, bring what users need into the team, and track whether what ships is working.\nThe role grows with the studio, with a path to broader ownership.\nKey Responsibilities\nTranslate product direction and priorities into requirements, a prioritized backlog, and acceptance criteria the team can build against.\n\nMake day-to-day product and scope decisions, and bring larger tradeoffs to product leadership with options and a recommendation.\n\nWork with engineering on dependencies, sequencing, and release timing.\n\nPlan and run releases and rollouts with engineering.\n\nOwn user feedback: bring it in complete, prioritized by impact, and ready for decision.\n\nLead user and market research that informs product decisions.\n\nDefine, track, and report success metrics, with a concise weekly view of what shipped, what was learned, and what is at risk.\n\nApply AI tooling across product operations and continuously improve how the team runs.\n\nQualifications\n4 to 7 years in product management, including at least one product you helped take from idea to users.\n\nCommercial sense: who the users are, what they value, and how a product grows.\n\nTechnical fluency to work closely with engineers and ask the right questions.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor status, risk, and tradeoffs to the audience.\n\nDaily, hands-on use of AI tools in your own work.\n\nDiscretion and comfort working with confidential material under NDA.\n\nBased in Los Angeles and available on-site.\n\nPreferred\nExperience as an early product hire at a startup.\n\nExperience in film, TV, or media technology.\n\nExposure to generative AI tools and workflows.\n\nCompensation\nWe offer a highly competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, including equity.\nBenefits\nWe believe in supporting our team’s well-being and growth.
