and processes by working closely with a diverse technical team of software developers and robotic engineers\n\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robotic hardware, sensors, drivers and software\n\nMaintain and promote a safe and professional environment with a high level of safety awareness and compliance\n\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to the junior members of the team\n\nWhat you'll need to succeed:\nBachelor/College degree in Robotics, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Master's degree preferred. \n8+ years' experience in manufacturing environments with automation systems programming and control, including industrial robots and PLCs \nStrong knowledge and experience in industrial robot programming, PLC/HMI, control panel, automation and electrical standards and best practices with proven history of commissioning manufacturing equipment\nPLC and HMI programming experience (Beckhoff experience will be a plus)\nExperience in designing fieldbus network architectures (EtherCAT experience will be a plus)\nExperience in Safety Programming\nExperience with perception systems such as force torque sensors, range finders and vision systems \nWillingness to participate in a variety of technical areas in both software and hardware as needed to solve complex problems and achieve business impact\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and organization skills\nMust be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or material up to 50 pounds when circumstances require.\nMay require work in hazardous environments requiring protective equipment.\nAbility to safely access and work beneath robotic cells, including bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as needed for troubleshooting, commissioning, and repairs. \nAbility to work at our Nisku facility and travel up to 25% to other facilities as needed\n(Preferred) Hands-on experience applying AI tools to automation and controls engineering such as code generation, troubleshooting, or optimizing control logic.\n(Preferred) Experience in integrating Kuka robots is a great asset\n(Preferred) Experience with electrical system design implementation in compliance with electrical standards\n(Preferred) Programming experience in Python, SQL or similar
