You’ll work closely with Product to develop new features, improve existing functionality, and ensure our applications are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.\nWe’re looking for an engineer who can independently own and deliver technical work, make sound decisions within their area, and collaborate effectively with the broader team. You’ll work across different parts of our technology stack and have meaningful ownership of the products and systems you help build.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nDesign, build, test, and maintain production web applications, services, and APIs.\nOwn features and technical projects from development through deployment and ongoing maintenance.\nCollaborate with Engineering and Product to scope, design, and deliver new features and improvements.\nDevelop and maintain services and APIs that power our applications.\nWrite clean, reusable, well-tested, and maintainable code.\nWork across front-end and back-end systems to deliver complete solutions.\nTroubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production problems.\nContribute to the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of our applications.\nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team planning.\nContribute to improving our development practices and overall code quality.\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\n3+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to independently contribute to production software.\nA bachelor's degree in Computer Science.\nStrong experience developing web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.\nExperience with front-end frameworks such as React.\nExperience with Java or another object-oriented programming language.\nExperience building and consuming APIs and working with service-based architectures.\nExperience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.\nFamiliarity with microservices and cloud-based applications.\nExperience with Git and modern software development practices.\nUnderstanding of software testing, security, performance, and maintainability.\nDemonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot technical problems and deliver solutions.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nHOW YOU WORK\nYou take ownership of your work and follow through on commitments.\nYou’re a creative problem solver who finds practical solutions when challenges arise.\nYou care about building quality software that is reliable and maintainable.\nYou balance attention to detail with getting meaningful work into production.\nYou communicate clearly and collaborate well with Engineering, Product, and other teams.\nYou seek feedback, share what you know, and contribute to making the team better.\nYou work effectively in a fully remote environment and manage your time and priorities well.\nNICE TO HAVE\nExperience working in a startup or high-growth technology environment.\nExperience building SaaS products.\nExperience with high-volume applications, APIs, or messaging systems.\nExperience with communications or messaging technology.\nBENEFITS\nWe believe great work starts with supporting great people.
