The architect will be working with technical leads, senior developers, and CTO leadership to establish, manage and lead the best course of action given the business requirements and technical challenges.\n\nYou will be responsible for\n\nCreating and maintaining non-functional requirements for software components\n\nWorking with the teams to establish the priorities regarding the delivery of non-functional requirements\n\nContinually identifying and driving improvements through technical debt reduction\n\nIdentifying bad processes, development lifecycle issues and highlighting to the leadership team\n\nResponsible for the reusable software component architecture within the business\n\nPartake in the creation and maintenance of the common architectural and development practices for the company\n\nContributing to code reviews, ensuring good software design patterns are implemented\n\nDisplaying effective leadership, good communications skills and a delivery / goal orientated work ethic\n\nMentor managers/team leaders to implement best practices to motivate and organize their teams\n\nWork together with relevant stakeholders across the Engineering departments including security, product, delivery, infrastructure, etc.\n\nGuide and provide input to all strategic and technical planning for the engineering department\n\nYou will have\n\nProven experience in developing backend solutions, frontend applications, or data warehouse systems.\n\nStrong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and working with both relational and NoSQL databases.\n\nExpertise in designing, developing, and managing distributed systems.\n\nProficient in at least one of the following technologies: RabbitMQ, Kafka, Ignite, JMS, or Hazelcast.\n\nHands-on experience with microservices architecture and event-driven service topologies.\n\nSolid background in project management, software development, and agile methodologies.\n\nComprehensive experience across the full software development lifecycle, including system analysis, design, development, testing, and production support.\n\nDeep understanding of REST API design principles.\n\nExcellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.\n\nGood to have:\n\nKnowledge of design patterns, experience delivering technical architecture\n\nUnderstanding of principles of the Clean Architecture and Software craftmanship\n\nKnowledge of multi-threaded applications, OOP & MVC concepts and design patterns\n\nUnderstanding principles of database modelling\n\nBasic Knowledge of software project lifecycle
