This position plays a critical role in ensuring successful deployment and optimal performance of Pronto equipment in the field.\nInstallation & Deployment\nElectrical and mechanical Scoping of Construction and Mining equipment\nPerform on-site installation of Pronto hardware and software solutions, including sensor systems, DBW kits, power integration, and vehicle interfaces.\nOn site installation of peripheral hardware such as network stations, gate systems and office infrastructure.\nConduct system calibrations and validation tests to ensure installations meet operational standards.\nCollaborate with Engineering and Customer teams to ensure field deployments align with specifications and best practices.\nCollaborate with engineering on R&D projects\nCoordinate with customer teams on training and technical maintenance\nPreventive Maintenance\nCarry out scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure system health, reliability, and long-term performance.\nMonitor and log equipment conditions, identifying signs of wear, degradation, or environmental impacts.\nTroubleshooting & Repair\nDiagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field.\nUtilize diagnostic tools and logs to identify root causes and implement fixes with minimal downtime.\nCommunicate findings clearly to engineering teams for deeper analysis and continuous improvement.\nCustomer Support\nServe as the face of Pronto during on-site visits, maintaining professional and responsive communication with customer personnel.\nProvide basic training to customer staff when required.\nDocument all service activities, updates, and issues using internal ticketing and CRM tools.\nWhat we’re looking for\nAdvanced degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or other relevant discipline\n5+ years of experience in field service, automotive electronics, mechatronics, or a similar technical support role.\nProficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and electrical testing tools.\nSolid understanding of vehicle systems (power, CAN bus, sensors, ECUs).\nAbility to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and follow technical documentation.\nComfortable working independently in field environments and with minimal supervision.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nWillingness to travel up to 75% to customer sites.\nBased in Arizona, Florida, Texas or Wyoming\nPreferred\nExperience with autonomous vehicle systems, heavy equipment, machine control, robotics, or complex sensor integrations.\nFamiliarity with Linux-based systems and remote diagnostics.\nOSHA 10 or equivalent safety certification.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds.\nCapable of standing, bending, and working in and around vehicles for extended periods.\nComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.\nWhy join us\nWork on real, production-deployed autonomy.\nBuild technology that directly improves safety, efficiency, and productivity.\nTackle complex challenges in demanding, real-world environments.\nBe part of a fast-moving team with high ownership and impact.\nSee your work deployed and making a difference in the field.\nCollaborate closely with experienced engineers and industry operators.\nWhat else you need to know\nThis is a field-based role supporting operations across the Middle East.
