This position plays a critical role in ensuring successful deployment and optimal performance of Pronto equipment in the field.\nWhat you’ll do\nInstallation & Deployment: Installs, commissions, and troubleshoots autonomous retrofit kits on heavy-duty mining equipment at active open-pit sites\nWorks on customer sites as part of a deployment crew, often as the sole technical presence\nPreventive Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure system health, reliability, and long-term performance\nMonitor and log equipment conditions, identifying signs of wear, degradation, or environmental impact\nTroubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair hardware, software, and connectivity issues in the field\nCustomer Support: Serve as the face of Pronto during on-site visits, maintaining professional and responsive communication with customer personnel\nWhat we’re looking for\n3+ years hands-on experience as a heavy equipment, diesel, automotive technician, avionics, industrial controls, or military/vehicle maintenance technician\nHands-on low-voltage (12/24V DC) electrical work: harness routing, connector termination, crimping, sensor and actuator installation\nAble to read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation drawings\nMust be able to mobilize on short notice (24 - 72 hours) and deploy for multi-week rotations, role is ~75% travel\nValid drivers license\nComfortable with site conditions: extreme heat/cold, dust, altitude, shift work including nights and weekends\nProficient with standard business tools (email, ticketing systems, spreadsheets, documentation platforms, instant messaging, and typical suite platforms)\nMakes sound judgment calls independently on site, with limited real-time support and often poor connectivity, and represent the company professionally at customer sites\nStrong communicator internally and externally with internal engineering as well as mine site crews.\nWhy join us\nWork on real, production-deployed autonomy.\nBuild technology that directly improves safety, efficiency, and productivity.\nTackle complex challenges in demanding, real-world environments.\nBe part of a fast-moving team with high ownership and impact.\nSee your work deployed and making a difference in the field.\nCollaborate closely with experienced engineers and industry operators.\nWhat else you need to know\nThis is a field-based role supporting operations across the Middle East.
