This position is NOT eligible for employer visa sponsorship.\nWhat Will You Do?\nAnalyze, reconcile, and interpret financial and insurance data from multiple sources\nPrepare working papers, schedules, and financial or statutory reports for assigned programs\nProcess funding and loss payment requests and maintain cash controls, reconciliations, and intercompany settlements\nCoordinate daily, monthly, and year-end financial and program information between operating locations and the Omaha office\nSupport maintenance and accuracy of Financial Database systems in coordination with IT and Finance\nAssist with calculating supplemental reserves and IBNR allocations according to guidelines\nDevelop and maintain spreadsheet and database tools to support reporting and processing needs\nCompile data and prepare reports for management, regulators, auditors, and other internal partners\nStay current on insurance accounting and financial reporting practices\nRespond to internal and external audit inquiries related to financial data and controls\nWhat are we looking for?\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience\nOne or more years of work experience\nKnowledge of general accounting principles\nPersonal computer proficiency and experience with basic applications such as Excel and Word\nPreferred Knowledge:\nLife or property casualty insurance accounting experience\nKnowledge of financial reporting\nFamiliarity with company and department practices and procedures\nKnowledge of statutory accounting principles\nKnowledge of Microsoft Access\nWho Would Excel in This Role?\nSomeone who communicates clearly and professionally and enjoys working with a variety of teams and stakeholders\nA detail-oriented individual who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work\nAn organized self-starter who can manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt as needs evolve\nA collaborative teammate who is also comfortable working independently when needed\nA curious, analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems and understanding the story behind the data\nA dependable professional who is flexible during peak periods and supports team success\nA trusted team member who handles sensitive information with care and discretion\nA motivated analyst who enjoys compiling, reviewing, and interpreting financial information to support informed decision-making\nWe want you to be involved!
