The intern will gain exposure to a wide variety of projects supporting internal departments.\nHours:\nFlexible; Between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.\n15-25 hours per week, depending on the applicant's schedule\nUp to 40 hours per week in the summer, depending on the applicant's schedule\nDuties include\nDeveloping, maintaining, and enhancing reports and dashboards for underwriting, client services, management, and other business areas.\nWriting and optimizing SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data from multiple sources.\nCreating and maintaining reporting solutions using Power BI and other business intelligence tools.\nPartnering with business units to gather reporting requirements and deliver meaningful analytics and insights.\nPerforming data quality reviews and validation activities to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and usability.\nAssisting with reporting and query automation projects designed to improve efficiency and streamline processes.\nSupporting initiatives related to customer experience analytics and emerging AI-driven analysis and quality control processes.\nResearching, analyzing, and summarizing data from structured and unstructured sources to support internal business projects.\nCollaborating with team members on a variety of analytics and reporting initiatives while gaining exposure to multiple areas of the business.\nRequirements\nUndergraduate students pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.\nPreferred candidates are sophomore or junior-level students, though all qualified applicants will be considered.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nExperience with SQL required; experience with Power BI strongly preferred.\nUnderstanding data analysis, reporting concepts, and business intelligence tools.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications\nExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business partners at all levels of the organization.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet project deadlines.\nDesire to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.\nWe want you to be involved!
