You will thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where adaptability and collaboration are critical.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS and Azure, following industry best practices.\nDesign and build Kubernetes-based infrastructure and applications, including the development of custom operators to manage complex workloads and Helm applications to deploy our services.\nDevelop and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.\nPartner closely with development and operations teams to ensure applications are performant, scalable, and reliable in production environments.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code tools and configuration management systems.\nImplement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain system health and quickly resolve issues.\nTroubleshoot issues across the full stack-from infrastructure and networking to deployment and application runtime.\nContinuously assess and enhance DevOps workflows to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enable faster delivery cycles.\nChampion security best practices and ensure infrastructure and processes comply with organizational and industry standards.\nMentor junior engineers and share your knowledge to elevate the DevOps culture within the team.\nProactively innovate and improve beyond standard operational tasks by shaping how systems and operations are designed and executed.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation to respond to production incidents, ensuring timely triage and resolution while contributing to post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.\nWhat You Bring to the Team\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles, with a proven track record of building and supporting production-grade systems.\nDeep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and familiarity with core services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.\nAdvanced experience with containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes, with experience developing Kubernetes Operators.\nProficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.\nStrong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins/CloudBees, GitLab CI/CD, Harness, or CircleCI, and hands-on experience automating deployment workflows.\nSolid understanding of networking, cloud security, and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Crossplane).\nExperience with observability tools like Coralogix, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to identify root causes and drive resolution across diverse systems.\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams in a collaborative, agile environment.\nFluency in both Spanish and English, with outstanding written and verbal communication in both languages.\nWhy Proofpoint?\nAt Proofpoint, we believe that an exceptional career experience includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
