Proofpoint.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for a motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our Endpoint team and help ensure high-quality software delivery. In this role, you will develop the automation tests to validate the quality of the Proofpoint Agent. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and QA professionals, gaining hands-on experience in modern testing tools, automation frameworks, and AI-driven quality strategies.\nLocation Hyderabad, AP, India\nKey Responsibilities\nTest Automation Develop and maintain automated tests\nContribute to test cases for the endpoint agents and their related end-to-end scenarios\nHelp integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines Assist in maintaining and improving existing test frameworks\nQuality Assurance\nExecute manual and automated test cases to validate new features and bug fixes Identify, document, and track bugs clearly and effectively\nParticipate in code reviews and testing discussions Learn and apply best practices in software quality and testing\nAI-Assisted Testing Support initiatives to expand test coverage using AI tools Help experiment with AI-based test generation and analysis tools\nLearn how AI can be used to identify gaps in test coverage and improve efficiency\nCollaboration & Learning\nWork closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members\nActively learn new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies\nAsk questions, seek feedback, and continuously improve your skills Required\nQualifications\n6+ years of experience in Software Development and QA Automation\nStrong knowledge of Networking and Endpoint testing\nAdvanced coding skills to automate processes Experience testing on Windows/Linux/MacOS environments Experience using Git\nWhy Proofpoint\nProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
