Participants will earn university credit while receiving competitive pay and gaining hands-on experience supporting critical business functions within National Indemnity Company.\nWhat You'll Experience\nAs a Co-Op Student, you will:\nGain practical experience through meaningful project work and business assignments.\nPartner with experienced professionals and leaders who will provide coaching and mentorship.\nDevelop analytical, problem-solving, communication, and professional skills.\nLearn how business decisions are made and how various functions collaborate to achieve organizational goals.\nApply concepts learned in the classroom to real business opportunities and challenges.\nParticipate in projects and initiatives that create value for the department and organization.\nComplete academic reporting and presentation requirements as part of the Cooperative Education Program.\nBecause this program supports a variety of business areas, specific projects and responsibilities may vary based on departmental needs and student interests.\nProgram Qualifications\nCurrently enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO).\nPursuing a degree in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative discipline.\nSophomore, junior, or senior standing may be considered in accordance with university program requirements.\nMinimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.\nDemonstrated academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn.\nStrong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.\nProgram Commitment\nTo maximize learning and business impact, students selected for this opportunity must:\nReside in the Omaha, Nebraska area and work on-site at our corporate office.\nCommit to participation for a minimum of two academic semesters and one summer term.\nWork an average of:15 hours per week during academic semesters\n25 hours per week during the summer term\n\nSuccessfully meet all Cooperative Education program and university requirements.\nWhy National Indemnity Company\nThe Co-Op Program is more than an internship.
