Monitors and communicates project milestones and progress to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget. Partners across the Brand Development function to identify and resolve project issues, resolving the most complex problems using strong technical knowledge. \nYour Role:\nWe are seeking a dynamic, creative Project Manager to partner with a leading snack brand, overseeing the packaging artwork process and driving all packaging commercialization initiatives.\nThis is a full-time remote position working closely with the current onsite and SGX Production Team. This is a client facing role requiring technical and project management skills.\nManage Projects and Coordinate Artwork Production\nOversee end-to-end workflow of packaging artwork from a highly detailed perspective\n\nCollaborate with team leaders to ensure client expectations are managed regarding scope and progress in schedule and budget\n\nManage high-volume project timelines, facilitate planning and related task management\n\nOversee and communicate key timelines and priorities\n\nAct as a liaison between management, internal departments, and clients to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions\n\nPartner and collaborate with internal teams in a positive, professional, and constructive way\n\nAbility to manage and engage in pre-production calls with the support of technical print production managers\n\nCoordinate and Traffic Artwork Production and Prepress\n\nTranslate client instructions into measurable and effective communication to all necessary end-users\n\nLead/participate in meetings as needed to review active projects and action items\n\nCreate, manage and communicate project timelines and submission deadlines\n\nManage extremely tight, sensitive timelines as needed with clear communications on any barriers and timeline risks managing client expectations\n\nManage projects in workflow tool, monitor routing approvals\n\nSupervise and lead to help other members of team learn best practices regarding project management and communication\n\nWorkflow Management\nHave a working knowledge of the workflows for packaging production and complex execution, understanding how to adjust to each component’s needs\n\nDemonstrate critical and strategic thinking skills, and be solution-oriented and flexible in your approach\n\nDevelop, improve and streamline workflow processes\n\nSet up projects and approvers in workflow tool, onboard new users as needed\n\nOptimize project organization to improve quality\n\nCreate Estimates and Manage POs on behalf of project assignment\n\nQuality Control\nVerify technical and content in supplied art is correct\n\nRefine and enforce quality control processes in each project\n\nSet clear expectations for tasks and deliverables, communicating clearly to team and providing proper materials/documentation when necessary\n\nReport production issues and be actively involved in the continuous improvement of tools and processes\n\nTake corrective action if anomaly is detected during the delivery\n\nBe proactive, anticipate risks\n\nAdvise and guide production group on brand’s best practices\n\nEfficiently monitor color quality of initial production, timelines and implement corrective actions\n\nBusiness Continuity\nNurture good relationships with clients, develop trust and stay alert to potential business opportunities\n\nProvide quality service by anticipating clients’ needs and regularly measuring satisfaction\n\nDemonstrate good judgment in choosing methods of communication that are most effective and efficient (i.e., team meetings, in-person visits, phone calls, email)\n\nQualifications:\nMicrosoft Office experience required\n\nFully conversant with Adobe CS or Adobe certification is a plus\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nStrong organizational skills\n\nKnowledge of artwork management systems \n\nAble to work effectively and efficiently towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands\n\nComfortable with interacting with clients of all levels, printers and suppliers\n\nMust be forward thinking and improvement driven\n\nEducation and Experience:\nEntry level role - the equivalent of 2-3 years of experience preferred\n\nPrevious experience in customer service and/or project management and/or Project Management Certification a plus\n\nExperience in packaging, artwork, creative project management, some knowledge of print, production, design, art industry, pre-press, color management theory is also beneficial for this role\n\nLocation:North America (US/CAD) Fully remote position\nCompetitive salary and benefits available with offer\nAbout Propelis: Propelis is a portfolio of global marketing services and technology companies with a combined legacy of 150+ years, 2,000+ clients, 9,000 employees, and operations across 30 countries.
