You can learn more about us on Glassdoor.\nRequirements\nYour Mission:\nAs a Product Designer at Propeller, you will partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape product strategy, influence the roadmap and turn customer needs into clear, impactful solutions. With a high level of autonomy, you will own design across the product lifecycle - from discovery and problem framing through to delivery and iteration - while aligning stakeholders around the squad's priorities, decisions and direction.\nYour Responsibilities:\nOwn the end-to-end design process, from customer discovery and problem framing through to detailed design, delivery and launch.\nWork closely with customers, subject-matter experts and internal teams to understand complex workflows and turn them into simple, intuitive product experiences.\nIndependently turn complex problems into clear solution directions, drawing on the Product Lead, Engineering Lead and wider team for context and collaboration.\nPartner closely with engineers throughout delivery, resolving trade-offs and maintaining momentum without compromising the customer experience.\nDrive design decision through evidence - stay close to customers through ongoing research, using evidence and product data to guide design decisions, validate what works and shape solutions as we enter a new market.\nCreate and validate user flows, prototypes and interaction designs, including edge cases and acceptance criteria.\nLead through influence, bringing stakeholders along on the squad’s decisions, telling the story behind the feature, driving progress and product direction, and creating the energy and alignment needed to move things forward.\nThrive in a distributed team, working autonomously across locations and time zones while building strong connections with customers and teammates.\nYour Skills:\n3-5 years' experience as a product designer.\nDeep understanding of UI/UX best practices, experience working with complex web products, strong proficiency in tools such as Figma, and familiarity with modern design principles.\nStrong systems thinking skills.\nExperience running customer discovery independently.\nExperience designing technical or data-heavy products.\nBenefits\nEmployee share options\nProfessional development budget and leave\nThe opportunity to take part in our mentorship program\nMental health resources\nMonthly telephone and/or internet allowance\nPaid primary & secondary parental leave policies\nHybrid work arrangements and WFH equipment provided\nAbout Propeller\nPropeller is for everyone, so come as you are.
