You can learn more about us on Glassdoor.\nYour Mission:\n You will help shape the media experience at Propeller end to end, from video upload and background processing through to transcoding, streaming, and playback across mobile and desktop. You’ll evolve and maintain Propeller's 360 walkthrough experience while delivering new media integrations across the platform. Success means making media features reliable, useful, and ready to support future hardware and product integrations.\nYour Responsibilities:\nMedia feature delivery: Build, design, and maintain media features across backend, frontend, and mobile.\n360 walkthroughs: Own and improve the existing 360 walkthrough functionality.\nMedia integrations: Integrate new media types and hardware by working from camera and device specifications.\nVideo pipeline: Help deliver video upload, background processing, transcoding, streaming, and playback.\nGround Capture collaboration: Work across the Ground Capture group on shared product goals and future drone and dock integrations.\nRequirements\n3+ years experience working across the full stack.\nConfidence moving between different parts of a technical pipeline.\nAbility to read technical or hardware specifications and turn them into practical integrations.\nStrong communication, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.\nComfort learning unfamiliar systems and taking ownership of ambiguous problems.\nBonus points for:\nUnderstanding of media formats, codecs, transcoding, or streaming.\nExperience with asynchronous or background task processing.\nBenefits\nEmployee share options\nProfessional development budget and leave\nThe opportunity to take part in our mentorship program\nMental health resources \nMonthly telephone and/or internet allowance\nPaid primary & secondary parental leave policies \nHybrid work arrangements and WFH equipment provided\nAbout Propeller\nPropeller is for everyone, so come as you are.
