You're the channel expert the team turns to, the person who keeps Google Ads, Meta Ads and channel mastery current across the group, and the one who builds automations that free the team from manual busywork.\nYou won't own the client relationship, and you won't own resourcing. You'll coordinate closely with the PMO so the team executing the work has the skills, tools, and standards to do it well, helping them understand who should be doing what type of work along the way.\nIf you'd rather build a system that runs without you than stay the bottleneck, coach a teammate instead of quietly doing the work yourself and see automation as core to the job instead of a side project, we want to talk.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn execution for the paid media delivery team: managers, specialists, and contractors who plan and run the work.\n\nServe as the team's internal SME Google Ads, Meta Ads, social and programmatic channels, resolving escalations and keeping channel expertise current across the group.\n\nBuild and ship automations that cut manual work, documented well enough that the team runs without you in the room.\n\nCoach and upskill the team on channel best practices, turning your expertise into repeatable team processes instead of keeping it to yourself.\n\nCoordinate tightly with the PMO on resourcing and delivery, helping them understand who should be doing what type of work, without taking over scoping or client contact.\n\nTrack and pilot emerging paid channels, tools, and best practices to keep the team ahead of the industry instead of catching up to it.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nYour team stays certified and sharp on Google and Meta Ads, and they come to you first when something gets hard, not to an outside resource.\n\nYou're shipping new automations on a regular basis, and the team is actively using them, not letting them collect dust.\n\nPaid media work moves through the project management pool clean and on time without surprises landing on their desk.\n\nYou and your team pilot the next channel or platform before the rest of the industry catches on, and document what you learn so it doesn't stay in your head.\n\nWhen you build something new, someone else on the team can run it without you in the room within weeks, not months.\n\nWho You Are\n7+ years in paid media, including 2+ years leading a team.\n\nAI adoption: you already replace your own manual work with automation as a matter of course, and document it well enough that it runs without you.\n\nExpert-level Google and Meta Ads practitioner, the person your team escalates to when they're stuck.\n\nA coach who'd rather build the team up than hoard expertise for yourself.\n\nComfortable coordinating in lockstep with a PMO on resourcing and delivery, without needing to own it.\n\nYou do what you’ll say you’ll do, and when something slips, you say do directly without making excuses.\n\nYou treat paid media as a craft and a career, not a stepping stone.\n\nEligibility to work in Canada, the U.S., or ability to contract internationally.\n\nPreference not required: you've worked in the travel industry before or have a particular passion for it.\n\nWhat We Offer\nRemote-first flexibility with a high-performing global team.\n\nMedical, dental, and vision plans + 5% 401(k) match (US employees).
