Drones and autonomous vehicles get higher energy density without lengthy integration cycles.\nIf you want to work on hard engineering problems that matter this is the place.\nJob Overview\nWe’re building high-performance battery and power systems, and we need an Associate Electrical Engineer to support the design, testing, and release of our electronics. You will work directly with senior electrical engineers, PCB designers, and the mechanical and manufacturing teams to take battery management and power electronics from concept to production hardware.\nWhat you'll do\nSupport the design of battery management systems (BMS), DC-DC converters, and power distribution circuits\nDraw schematics and select components in Altium Designer\nRun bring-up, testing, and debugging on prototype hardware\nTake bench measurements and write up results, including efficiency, thermal, and protection behavior\nReview PCB layouts with the layout team and help resolve design issues\nMaintain BOMs, test procedures, and design documentation\nSupport design verification and compliance testing\nWork with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve build and sourcing issues\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field\n0 to 3 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience, including internships\nSolid understanding of analog and digital circuit fundamentals\nExperience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and electronic loads\nWorking knowledge of at least one of the following:\nPower electronics (buck/boost converters, switching regulators)\nBattery systems or battery management\nMicrocontroller-based hardware\n\nClear written and verbal communication\nAbility to learn quickly and work with limited supervision in a startup environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Altium Designer or another schematic and layout tool\nExperience with lithium-ion battery systems or BMS\nFamiliarity with communication interfaces such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART\nBasic scripting for test automation or data analysis (such as Python)\nStartup, small-team, or hardware project experience\nFamiliarity with UL, IEC, or automotive standards\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary range: $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience and qualifications\nEquity options as part of the compensation package\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage\nPaid time off and paid holidays\nReady to work on power systems that matter?
