You'll work across the stack on high-traffic, consumer-facing products, from the Next.js web experience to the services behind it, where latency, reliability and cost efficiency directly shape the experience of millions of buyers, renters and agents.\nThis is a hands-on full-stack role. You'll build and own features end to end, with senior engineers around you to learn from and grow with.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild, ship and operate features across the web experience and the backend services that power core marketplace experiences\n\nOwn your features end to end: implementation, testing, deployment, observability, and iteration based on production data\n\nBuild fast, accessible and SEO-friendly user-facing features in React and Next.js\n\nBuild new services and features in TypeScript (Node.js), and help support and evolve our existing Go services\n\nWork with product managers, designers and mobile engineers to turn requirements into maintainable systems and polished user experiences\n\nTake part in operational work: monitoring, alerting, on-call and incident follow-ups\n\nReview pull requests, contribute to design discussions, and help improve the team's standards and best practices\n\nDesired Qualifications\n4+ years of software engineering experience across frontend and backend, including building production, consumer-facing applications\n\nStrong proficiency in TypeScript on both the backend (Node.js) and the frontend\n\nProduction experience with React and Next.js, including server-side rendering and data fetching\n\nWillingness to work in Go.\n\nOur existing production services are written in Go, and you'll maintain them alongside new development (prior Go experience is a plus)\n\nExperience building and consuming APIs (REST/gRPC) in a microservices environment\n\nHands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), OpenSearch/Elasticsearch or Redis, including debugging and improving query performance\n\nExperience owning software in production: understanding how your services behave, diagnosing issues, and improving reliability and performance\n\nSolid engineering fundamentals: testing, maintainable code, code quality and pragmatic system design\n\nNice To Have\nProduction experience with AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, SQS/SNS, CloudFront, RDS, ElastiCache or equivalents) and containerised deployments on Kubernetes\n\nExperience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing (Kafka, SQS or similar)\n\nExperience with web performance (Core Web Vitals), SEO, internationalisation or right-to-left (Arabic) layouts\n\nExperience integrating AI/LLM-backed features into production services Experience in marketplace, classifieds, or other two-sided platform products\n\nHow You Work\nYou take ownership beyond your ticket: you notice problems, suggest fixes and follow through\n\nYou explain technical trade-offs clearly to engineers and non-technical colleagues, and use data to back up your point of view\n\nYou give and receive thoughtful code review, and you help keep the team's quality bar high\n\nYou're pragmatic: you ship the simple thing when that's enough, and you recognise when a problem needs more investment\n\nYou're curious and keen to grow, and you actively look for feedback on your work\n\nOur promise to talent\nAt Property Finder, we believe talent thrives in an environment where you can be your best self.
