continued growth.\nAbout the Role\nThe Controller will oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, cash management, and internal controls across multiple business entities.\nThis is a highly involved leadership position requiring someone who is equally comfortable managing day-to-day accounting responsibilities and partnering with executive leadership on financial planning and operational improvements.\nThe ideal candidate has extensive multi-entity accounting experience, strong NetSuite expertise, and the ability to establish efficient financial processes within a growing organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccounting & Financial Reporting\n- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across multiple operating entities.\n- Prepare accurate financial statements, consolidated reporting, and financial analysis for executive leadership.\n- Oversee bank reconciliations, general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.\n- Maintain accurate cash-basis and accrual-basis financial reporting as required.\n- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, commissions, and independent contractor payments.\n- Coordinate with external CPAs regarding tax filings, financial reviews, and audits.\nCash Management & Internal Controls\n- Oversee daily cash management, bank account activity, and cash-flow forecasting.\n- Manage high-volume wire transfers and ACH payments associated with real estate transactions.\n- Ensure strict compliance with dual-authorization procedures and established payment verification protocols.\n- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risk.\n- Identify opportunities to improve financial accuracy, efficiency, and operational procedures.\nFinancial Planning & Leadership\n- Develop and maintain company budgets, financial forecasts, and cash-flow projections.\n- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making.\n- Establish scalable accounting policies and procedures to support expansion into additional markets.\n- Partner with executive leadership to identify financial risks and opportunities for operational improvement.\nNetSuite Administration\n- Serve as the primary administrator and internal resource for NetSuite.\n- Manage user roles, permissions, saved searches, workflows, and approval processes.\n- Identify and implement system improvements that enhance reporting accuracy and accounting efficiency.\n- Maintain accurate financial data and reporting across multiple entities.\nQualifications\nRequired\n- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n- Approximately 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant responsibility for financial reporting and month-end close processes.\n- Demonstrated experience managing accounting activities across multiple entities.\n- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.\n- Hands-on experience using NetSuite.\n- Experience managing cash flow, bank transactions, and payment approval procedures.\n- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\n- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, growing organization.\nPreferred\n- Active CPA designation; CMA or active CPA candidates will also be considered.\n- Previous experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar accounting leader.\n- NetSuite administration, system configuration, or implementation experience.\n- Experience in investment real estate, title, escrow, lending, or other transaction-intensive industries.\n- Experience developing accounting processes and financial controls for growing, multi-entity organizations.\nCompensation & Benefits\n- Base Salary: $170,000-$200,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.\n- Annual Performance Bonus: Target of 10%-15% of base salary, based on established performance objectives, including timely financial closes, successful external CPA reviews, and
