You’ll guide prospective owners through the full sales journey, helping them understand how short-term rentals work, what they can realistically expect to earn, what’s required to operate successfully, and how we manage their property on their behalf. Once an owner signs up, you’ll also play an important role in getting their property ready to launch, working closely with our onboarding and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover. This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, is highly organised, and is equally comfortable presenting to a client, working through detailed admin, or spending the afternoon visiting properties across Johannesburg.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nResponding to new sales enquiries and managing prospective clients through the sales pipeline\n\nSetting up and conducting meetings, video calls and property viewings\n\nPresenting Propr’s service and clearly explaining how we manage short-term rental properties\n\nConducting property visits and inspections\n\nAdvising owners on what is required to prepare and operate their property successfully\n\nSetting realistic expectations around performance, operations, guest requirements and the owner experience\n\nPreparing revenue projections to help prospective clients understand the potential earning opportunity for their property\n\nNegotiating and completing the client sign-up process\n\nBuilding strong relationships with individual property owners, investors, developers and other industry partners\n\nWorking closely with our internal onboarding, operations, revenue and property management teams to onboard properties\n\nFacilitating the final handover and introduction between the owner and their assigned Property Manager\n\nKeeping sales, and onboarding information accurate and up to date across our internal systems\n\nHere’s our description of the ideal person for this job:\nBased in Johannesburg \n\nIn possession of a valid drivers license & vehicle of your own\n\nAn excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing\n\nConfident presenting, explaining concepts and building relationships with clients\n\nHighly organised and able to manage multiple clients, properties and priorities at the same time\n\nDetail-oriented, with a strong appreciation for accuracy and thoroughness\n\nEnergetic, dynamic and comfortable switching between desk-based work and being out on the road\n\nSelf-motivated and results-oriented\n\nCommercially minded, with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills\n\nComfortable working independently and taking ownership of your work\n\nAble to work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment\n\nComfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems\n\nSomeone who genuinely cares about our clients, your teammates and the success of the business\n\nInterested in property, hospitality, short-term rentals or the broader accommodation industry\n\nBenefits\nAt Propr, we’re all about building an amazing place to work - together.
