The candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted chilled water supply, maintaining system efficiency, and following all safety and preventive maintenance procedures.\nKey Responsibilities\nOperate and monitor Vapour Absorption Machine (VAM) systems.\nMaintain required chilled water temperature for plant operations.\nMonitor steam pressure, vacuum pressure, chilled water temperature, condenser water temperature, and solution concentration.\nRecord hourly operating parameters in utility log sheets.\nMonitor Lithium Bromide solution levels and ensure proper concentration.\nIdentify abnormal operating conditions and report immediately.\nPerform routine inspections of pumps, valves, cooling towers, and associated equipment.\nAssist in preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.\nEnsure safe operation of VAM equipment according to SOPs.\nCoordinate with the Utility and Maintenance teams during shutdowns and repairs.\nMaintain housekeeping in the utility area.\nFollow all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines.\nRequired Qualifications\nITI in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC), Attendant Operator Chemical Plant (AOCP), Fitter, or Mechanical Trade.\nOR Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.\nExperience\n2-5 years of experience operating Vapour Absorption Machines (VAM), Absorption Chillers, Utility Plants, HVAC Systems, or Industrial Chillers.\nExperience in Food Processing, Dairy, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Manufacturing industries is preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nKnowledge of Vapour Absorption Chiller operation.\nUnderstanding of Lithium Bromide solution handling.\nKnowledge of steam systems and vacuum systems.\nExperience with PLC/SCADA monitoring systems.\nUnderstanding of cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, and utility equipment.\nAbility to troubleshoot vacuum loss, crystallization, pump failures, and temperature fluctuations.\nKnowledge of preventive maintenance practices.\nKey Competencies\nStrong troubleshooting skills.\nAttention to detail.\nSafety awareness.\nTeamwork and communication.\nAbility to work in rotational shifts.\nGood documentation and logbook maintenance.\nWorking Conditions\nRotational shifts.\nIndustrial utility environment.\nExposure to steam, hot water, cooling systems, and industrial machinery.\nPPE compliance is mandatory.\nRequirements\nPreferred Certifications\nBoiler Attendant Certificate (1st or 2nd Class) -
