It is our mission to support them in their discovery of knowledge.\nWe help our clients find industry experts who can provide their knowledge via interview or survey; we curate this knowledge in a market-leading software platform; and we help clients surface knowledge they already have through expansive knowledge management.\nWe are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to own entity resolution and taxonomy quality inside the graph, and to own the evaluation that tells us whether an agent is ready to move along our human-AI spectrum: from human-led with AI assistance, to agent-does-the-work-human-approves, to running autonomously within guardrails.\nAbout the Role\nproSapient is building an AI-native intelligence platform for private markets. We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to improve the expert knowledge graph, matching system and evaluation of agentic AI workflows.\nThe key duties of this role will include:\n· Owning entity resolution, classification and taxonomy quality across the expert knowledge graph.\n· Measuring graph coverage, freshness and accuracy, and prioritising improvements.\n· Evaluating matching, retrieval, extraction and agent reliability with robust metrics.\n· Defining guardrails, drift detection and autonomy thresholds for agentic AI workflows.\n· Supporting product decisions through analysis, forecasting and clear engineering hand-offs.\nRequirements\nWhat we’re looking for:\n· 5+ years in applied data science or ML with production impact.\n· Strong Python, SQL, statistics, evaluation design and uncertainty quantification.\n· Hands-on entity resolution, record linkage or large-scale deduplication experience.\n· Experience with knowledge graphs, taxonomies, embeddings, modern NLP and LLM evaluation.\n· Ability to judge when rules, classifiers or lookups outperform LLMs.\nNice to have:\n· Graph database experience, e.g. Neo4j, TigerGraph or Amazon Neptune.\n· Experience with agent guardrails, human-in-the-loop thresholds, annotation programmes, ranking evaluation or B2B data contexts.\nBenefits\nWhat we can offer you:\n· Tenure gifts, including vouchers, extra holiday and sabbaticals for each year of employment.\n· Health insurance through Vitality.\n· Remote working for up to 20 days each year, giving you flexibility and a change of scenery.\n· Employee Assistance Programme with personalised health and wellbeing advice from specialist teams.\n· Enhanced maternity and paternity pay.\n· 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, including a week’s closure over Christmas.\n· MyMindPal app for online mental fitness support.\n· Corporate events, from quarterly gatherings to annual winter and summer parties.\nWe are committed to building an inclusive workplace.
