Interns will contribute to meaningful client work while participating in structured training, mentorship and professional development designed to build a strong foundation in media relations, writing, account management and financial communications.\nMore than a traditional internship, the program is designed to identify and develop future Prosek talent. High-performing interns will be considered for full-time opportunities following graduation.\nProgram Overview and Responsibilities\nWhat you’ll do \nAs a Prosek Intern, you will:\nSupport account teams with media monitoring, research, coverage tracking and media list development.\nBuild knowledge of the media landscape and identify reporters, publications and trends relevant to client priorities.\nAssist in developing pitches, briefing materials and other written client content.\nMonitor breaking news and industry trends to help identify timely media opportunities and potential story angles.\nParticipate in internal account meetings and gain exposure to client calls and day-to-day account management.\nConduct research in support of client work and new business opportunities.\nGain exposure to a variety of clients and sectors across financial and professional services.\nTake ownership of assigned projects while developing strong organization, prioritization and attention to detail.\nWork closely with account teams to understand the expectations and responsibilities of an entry-level communications professional.\nProfessional Development and Training\nIn addition to hands-on client experience, interns will participate in a structured learning curriculum designed to accelerate their professional development and prepare them for future entry-level opportunities.\nTraining may include:\nWriting & Pitch Development\nMedia Relations Fundamentals\nProfessional Optics\nMedia Monitoring & News Analysis\nIntroduction to Financial Communications\nFinancial Services & Client Sector Boot Camps\nCareer Development & Early-Career Readiness\nConversations and panels with Prosek leaders and former early-career talent\n\nInternal Network and Support\nEach intern will receive dedicated support throughout the summer to help them understand their strengths, identify areas for development and explore what a future career at Prosek could look like.\nInterns will receive:\nA dedicated manager responsible for overseeing their work and development.\nA mentor who serves as an additional resource throughout the summer.\nRegular informal feedback and coaching from account teams.\nFormal end-of-program performance conversations.\nOpportunities to build relationships with employees and leaders across the firm.\nExperience and Qualifications\nRising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree.\nStrong interest in public relations, communications, journalism, business or related fields.\nInterest in financial services, professional services, technology and/or B2B communications.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nIntellectual curiosity and interest in current events, business and the media.\nStrong research and critical-thinking skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively in a team environment.\nStrong organization, time management and prioritization skills.\nHigh attention to detail.\nEagerness to learn, receive feedback and take on increasing responsibility.\nSalary: $20.00/hour\nApplication Deadline: January 29th, 2027\nOur Core Values:\nChemistry, Collaboration and Belonging: Our collegial culture inspires people with different perspectives and backgrounds to work towards common goals as we brainstorm, plan and execute on behalf of our clients and to build our business together.\nGrit and Hustle: We work hard.
