Join us!\nThe role\nThe Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making through robust financial insights. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity and driving process improvements across the Finance function.\nWhat you'll be doing\nManage and support the month-end close process, including general ledger integrity and reconciliations.\nPerform loan book reconciliations and ensure accuracy of related entries.\nSupport daily payment processing and cash flow activities.\nAct as the key point of contact for external audits and support the audit process.\nPrepare financial statements in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AAS).\nHandle compliance and regulatory reporting requirements, including statutory obligations.\nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely financial information.\nMentor and guide junior accountants, fostering technical development and best practices.\nDrive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.\nContribute to ad hoc projects and strategic finance initiatives as required.\nWhat you'll need to succeed\nCA/CPA qualified with 4-6 years’ experience in financial accounting roles.\nStrong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.\nAdvanced Excel and ERP system experience (NetSuite preferred).\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.\nDon't let a confidence gap get in the way of submitting your application.\nWhat we offer:\nAs a busy grow getter, our benefits are here to help you be unstoppable in your mission.
