As we prepare for our next stage of growth, we're looking for ambitious, exceptionally talented people to help scale our team and grow with us.\nThe Role\nWe're experiencing rapid growth in New York and Barcelona, and hiring well is now one of the most important things we do. As our first dedicated Recruiter, you’ll own our searches from the first conversation with the hiring manager through to the signed offer.\nThis is a hands-on role with true ownership. Beyond your own searches, you'll help us build and refine our hiring processes as we scale, from interviews to the data we use for improvement.\nYou’ll report to our Head of People and work closely with hiring managers and founders. This role is based in our Barcelona office, with at least three days a week in person.\nWhat You’ll Do\nRun searches end to end: kick-off with the hiring manager, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and closing\n\nSource directly and build strong pipelines of passive candidates; the majority of your hires will come from your outreach\n\nPartner with hiring managers to define role requirements, assessment strategies, and candidate profiles\n\nEnsure every candidate experiences a fast, clear, and respectful process; everyone hears back from us\n\nKeep Ashby updated and report on pipeline health, time to hire, and conversions for each search\n\nContinuously improve our processes: interview guides, scorecards, outreach templates, and our presence in the Barcelona tech community\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n3+ years of full-cycle recruiting, ideally in-house at a fast-growing tech startup\n\nDemonstrated experience hiring engineers, with examples of searches you've led from kick-off to signed offer\n\nStrong sourcing skills: you excel at finding and attracting passive candidates\n\nAble to manage multiple searches simultaneously with excellent follow-through; hiring managers and candidates never chase you for updates\n\nProvide hiring managers with a clear, data-backed point of view, and aren’t afraid to challenge ineffective processes or profiles\n\nFluent English, both written and spoken; you’ll work with teams and candidates across Europe and the US\n\nNice to Have\nExperience recruiting for AI, healthcare, or SaaS companies\n\nGo-to-market hiring (sales, customer success) as well as engineering\n\nExperience with Ashby or other modern ATS\n\nSpanish proficiency\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nHiring managers view you as a trusted partner and value your candidate assessments\n\nThe majority of hires come through your proactive sourcing\n\nCandidates rate their experience highly, even those not selected\n\nReduced time from kick-off to signed offer, supported by clear data\n\nWhy Prosper\nWork on products that transform US healthcare operations, at the forefront of conversational AI\n\nReal ownership and impact from day one, alongside a talented and driven team\n\nSignificant professional growth opportunities as the company scales\n\nJoin an international team across New York and Barcelona\n\nA culture that rewards bold thinking, analytical rigor, and tangible results\n\nShape Prosper’s hiring approach as our first dedicated recruiter\n\nInterview Process\nInitial conversation to understand your background, goals, and interests (30 minutes)\n\nWritten exercise at home on managing one of our real searches (around 2 hours)\n\nLive session with our Head of People and a hiring manager: review your exercise and run a mock kick-off meeting (45 minutes)\n\nConversation with a co-founder (30 minutes)\n\nOffer stage\n\nProsper AI is an equal opportunity employer.
