in our SJ Campus at 38 Cleantech Loop, we are looking for a proactive and innovative Blast Engineer to join our team in designing and planning for the protection of building and infrastructure from explosion and dynamic effects.\n\nYou’ll work on exciting projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to create safe, efficient, and field.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign, analysis and plan for structural engineering works\n\nDesign, analysis and plan for the protection of building and infrastructure from explosion and dynamic effects (e.g. blast loading)\n\nDesign, analysis and plan for security system engineering works\n\nLiaise with other consultants, contractors & authorities from inception to completion of projects\n\nResponsible for timely submission of plans and reports to authorities and clients\n\nManage projects to meet the time, cost and quality objectives\n\nPrepare tender specifications and drawings for tendering of construction contracts, including evaluating of tender submissions and make appropriate recommendations to clients\n\nCoordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during course of construction of projects.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nAt least a good degree in Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board\n\nProficiency in Engineering software such as AutoCad, Tekla, ETABs etc\n\nCandidates with knowledge of design and analysis of structures under dynamic loading, e.g. blast, blast tests, shock and vibration would be advantageous\n\nCandidates with understanding of latest electronic security technologies would be advantageous\n\nStrong interest in counter-terrorism and homeland security\n\nGood communication skills and the ability to work in a team\n\nSelf-motivated, innovative thinker and willing to take on
