Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. If you have prior military service or government contracting experience, are proud to serve and support our nation, and want to help support ProSync's mission to \"Define and Redefine the State of Possible,” please apply today!\nThe Level 2 System Administrator (SA) shall possess the following capabilities:\nProvide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems\nProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems\nManage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems\nProvide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems\nProvide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems\nProvide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.\nProvide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers\nOptimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning\nProvide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems\nProvide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets\nProvide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process\nConfigure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance\nRequirements\nTen (10) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. \nProven experience working with both Linux and Windows-based systems is essential for this role. Candidates should have hands-on expertise in managing, configuring, and troubleshooting these operating systems, demonstrating proficiency in utilizing their respective tools and features. Familiarity with system administration tasks across both platforms will be beneficial, as well as the ability to adapt and operate efficiently within mixed environments.\nAn Active Top Secret SCI with Fullscope Polygraph is required to be considered for this position.\nEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nA Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
