If you have prior military service or government contracting experience, are proud to serve and support our nation, and want to help support ProSync's mission to \"Define and Redefine the State of Possible,” please apply today!\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nA COMSEC Engineer specialized experience must demonstrate the following:\nDevelop, implement, and maintain Communications Security (COMSEC) key management architectures supporting mission and operational requirements.\nSupport the lifecycle management of cryptographic equipment, keying material, and End Cryptographic Unit (ECU) deliverables in accordance with NSA and DoD requirements.\nCoordinate COMSEC activities with system developers, security personnel, program stakeholders, and government customers to ensure secure integration of cryptographic capabilities.\nManage and maintain compliance with COMSEC policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance governing classified communications and information systems.\nUtilize and support Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) processes for the distribution, tracking, and accountability of cryptographic material.\nProvide technical support for cryptographic implementations, including troubleshooting, configuration management, testing, and operational sustainment.\nAssist with COMSEC account inspections, audits, inventory activities, and corrective action efforts to ensure accountability and compliance.\nSupport the certification, accreditation, and implementation of cryptographic solutions within enterprise and mission environments.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, reports, and security artifacts related to COMSEC operations and key management activities.\nCollaborate with government and international partners to support cryptographic interoperability requirements and secure communications initiatives.\nResearch, evaluate, and provide recommendations regarding cryptographic technologies, key management processes, and COMSEC modernization efforts.\nCommunicate technical information effectively through written reports, briefings, and coordination with program leadership, government representatives, and operational stakeholders.\nRequirements\nFour (4) or more years’ experience in developing COMSEC key architecture and in End Cryptological Unit (ECU) deliverables, process and certification. \nSpecialized experience in cryptographic algorithms and interface with systems developers and international partners. \nFamiliarity with NSA UIC process. \nFamiliarity with KMI and EKMS systems \nAbility to work with little to no oversight.\nMust hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification. (i.e. Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CND, CCNA Security, CASP+/SecurityX, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCNP Security, CCSP, etc.) \n A minimum Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Special Access Request (SAR) eligibility or higher is required to be considered for this position.\nEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nA Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university (OR) an Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of additional COMSEC experience may be substituted.
