The work is building and maintaining enterprise applications that run on Adobe ColdFusion with an Oracle database behind them.\nThis is a hands-on development role. You will write and support code on systems agency staff use every day, and you will own the quality controls around that code: automated test coverage, static analysis, and peer review. We are looking for someone who treats testing and code quality as part of the job rather than the first thing cut when a schedule tightens.\nThe position is fully remote within the continental United States.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and support enterprise applications using Adobe ColdFusion and CFML.\nDesign applications for testability, maintainability, reliability, and performance.\nImplement automated testing, including unit, integration, functional, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.\nDevelop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium or similar tools.\nUse SonarQube or comparable tools to identify defects, vulnerabilities, code smells, duplication, and maintainability issues.\nEstablish and maintain automated testing and code quality controls throughout the development lifecycle.\nPerform source control, peer code review, configuration management, defect resolution, and root cause analysis.\nTroubleshoot and isolate defects across the database, application, integration, and user interface layers.\nSupport release readiness, regression testing, deployment validation, and production stabilization.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation for development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and sustainment.\nProSync Technology Group, LLC (ProSync) is an award-winning, SDVOSB Defense Contracting company with a strong military heritage and a record of excellence in supporting the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. If you have prior military service or government contracting experience, are proud to serve and support our nation, and want to help support ProSync's mission to \"Define and Redefine the State of Possible,” please apply today!\nRequirements\nFive (5) or more years of professional software development experience.\nAdvanced hands-on experience developing enterprise applications in Adobe ColdFusion and CFML.\nAdvanced Oracle backend development, including SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, packages, views, data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.\nDemonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrated ColdFusion and Oracle applications.\nStrong software testing background, including automated testing with Selenium or similar tools.\nExperience with source control, configuration management, and defect resolution.\nAbility to isolate a defect across multiple application layers and identify the underlying cause.\nApplicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background investigation.
