If you have prior military service or government contracting experience, are proud to serve and support our nation, and want to help support ProSync's mission to \"Define and Redefine the State of Possible,” please apply today!\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nA Mid-Level TEMPEST Engineer will be tasked with the following:\nSupport TEMPEST and Emissions Security (EMSEC) programs designed to protect classified and sensitive information from unauthorized interception or exploitation.\nConduct TEMPEST assessments, surveys, and inspections of facilities, information systems, communications equipment, and operational environments.\nEvaluate systems and infrastructure for compliance with National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community TEMPEST requirements.\nIdentify vulnerabilities related to compromising emanations and recommend mitigation strategies to reduce security risks.\nAssist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of EMSEC protection measures for classified systems and facilities.\nSupport accreditation, certification, and approval processes for TEMPEST-controlled environments.\nCoordinate with engineers, security personnel, program managers, and government stakeholders on TEMPEST requirements and compliance activities.\nReview system architectures, communications equipment, and facility designs to ensure appropriate TEMPEST controls are integrated throughout the lifecycle.\nAssist in developing technical documentation, assessment reports, security recommendations, and compliance records.\nSupport investigations and analysis involving TEMPEST, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and emissions security concerns.\nMaintain awareness of evolving TEMPEST policies, technical standards, and emerging technologies impacting EMSEC requirements.\nParticipate in security reviews, audits, and inspections while providing recommendations for continuous improvement.\nRequirements\nThree (3) or more years’ experience in supporting TEMPEST, EMSEC, cybersecurity, secure communications, information assurance, systems engineering, or related technical disciplines.\nKnowledge of TEMPEST principles, compromising emanations, and emissions security requirements.\nFamiliarity with NSA, DoD, and Intelligence Community TEMPEST guidance and security controls.\nExperience conducting security assessments, technical evaluations, inspections, or compliance reviews.\nUnderstanding of communications systems, information systems, networking technologies, and secure facility environments.\nAbility to analyze technical data and develop practical mitigation recommendations.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities.\nAbility to work effectively with technical teams, security personnel, and government stakeholders.\nMust hold an active IAT/IAM Level II certification. (i.e. Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, CND, CCNA Security, CASP+/SecurityX, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCNP Security, CCSP, etc.) \n A minimum Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Special Access Request (SAR) eligibility or higher is required to be considered for this position.\nEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nA Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university (OR) an Associate’s Degree plus 4 years of additional COMSEC experience may be substituted.
