React Native Developer

We are looking for an experienced React Native Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable mobile applications, preferably from scratch, and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced product development environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Build new mobile applications from scratch as well as enhance existing applications.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Implement reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.
• Optimise application performance, responsiveness, and stability.
• Work with state management libraries such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.
• Collaborate with backend developers, QA, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality features.
• Debug production issues and provide timely fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
• Support application deployment and releases on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with React Navigation.
• Strong understanding of Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or similar state-management libraries.
• Experience integrating REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience in Android and iOS application development.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, deep linking, payment gateway integrations, or authentication.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile application release management.
• Knowledge of native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development is an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate:

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working on consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of features from design to deployment.
