The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing complex ABAP applications, enhancements, and interfaces in the S/4HANA environment.\nThis role will provide technical leadership, coordinate closely with various technical and business resources to derive technical solutions that address business problems, and ensure that all development is conducted in such a manner as to comply with best practices and company standards.\nAdditional Experience/Skills that are required:\nMeaningful experience participating in at least one SAP S/4 HANA project\nSAP custom ABAP development experience including dialogue programming, SAP Forms/SAP Script, ALV reporting, and use of function modules, RFCs, Web Services (API) and has worked on RICEFW developments\nExperience creating and maintaining CDS views and AMDPs\nProgramming experience with Interface development, BAPIs, object-oriented ABAP, User exits, Business Add-Ins and Enhancement exits, Module Pool (on-line dialog)\nExpertise in troubleshooting the integration suite to backend SAP systems, technical object performance tuning, interface and alert tuning, alert monitoring\nExperience in configuration of synchronous and asynchronous interfaces AIF (Application Interface Framework)\nProduce detailed technical design documentation ensuring that all functional requirements are addressed\nEnsure ABAP code is developed in adherence to standards established by Protective Life\nDevelop, document and execute test plans\nExtensive experience in debugging, performance tuning, Analysis and System monitoring\nExperience with SAP upgrade projects working through SPDD, SPAU and SPAU_ENHANCE.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a team\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey information in a profession manner to other technical and business staff\nGeneral understanding of accounting principles in relation to ERP software\nBS computer science or related field, MS a plus\nAdditional Experience/Skills that are desired:\nSQL server, including SQL server Integration Services (SSIS) and Reporting Services (SSRS)\nControl-M scheduling\nAgile Methodology\nFiori and Gateway development\nExperience in SAP Workflow and SAP Workflow troubleshooting\nExperience with BTP, in particular Integration Suite.
