Role Overview

We are seeking a senior software engineer with experience in backend API development, deployment on Kubernetes, familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) application backend engineering.

This role offers the opportunity to be hands-on and build enterprise-grade capabilities that enable the safe, secure, and private consumption of GenAI by customers, as Protegrity accelerates its AI-driven strategy at a pivotal moment in the market.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, test, and maintain Python based backend applications running on Kubernetes

• Integrate GenAI systems including LLM, VectorDB, RAG pipelines, agents, and guardrails into our product features.

• Support GenAI team's platform infrastructure for experimentation and evaluations

• Collaborate closely with other software engineers, product teams, AI researchers, and security specialists to deliver enterprise-grade software products and features for safe, secure, and private consumption of GenAI.

What You’ll Need

• 7+ years of experience in backend software engineering with experience productionizing agentic harnesses

• Experience building and shipping customer-facing Kubernetes-based software platforms, including Helm charts, infrastructure automation, and deployment tooling.

• Expertise developing REST APIs across services in Kubernetes

• Familiarity with version control tools, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Experience integrating and managing LLMs and prompt tracing platforms

• Experience integrating databases into backend systems, including vector databases

• Experience with integrating software products using authentication and authorization including cloud IAM, SSO, JWT, oAuth, etc.

• Strong skills cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
