We support edge deployments for real-time computer vision applications and deliver resilient systems to enable proactive workplace safety at global scale.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead infrastructure efforts across cloud and edge environments. You’ll architect and implement CI/CD pipelines, design scalable observability systems, and drive system reliability across globally distributed environments. You'll help shape a seamless developer experience, maintain environment parity (Dev, Stage, Prod), and ensure secure, high-quality data across all regions.\nYou’ll work closely with engineering teams to support well-architected, cost-effective, and secure infrastructure. This includes proactive cost management, cloud security enforcement, and compliance with regional standards like GDPR.\nWhat You'll Need\n8+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE roles. Including 2+ years in a technical management role.\n\nSolid knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudWatch)\n\nHands-on experience with Terraform\n\nProven experience in SRE with a focus on uptime, reliability, and system health\n\nExpertise in monitoring, observability, and reliability best practices\n\nStrong experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation (cloud and edge)\n\nExperience with real-time, distributed, or IoT infrastructure\n\nExperience with Unix-based operating systems\n\nExperience or interest in Edge device management\n\nExperience managing split environments (Dev, Staging, Prod) with consistent, production-quality data\n\nAbility to deploy infrastructure across regions while maintaining GDPR and other compliance standards\n\nStrong focus on developer experience and supporting cross-functional teams\n\nStrong understanding of cloud security best practices (secrets management, threat prevention, vulnerability mitigation)\n\nAbility to influence technical direction, mentor others, and drive execution\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field\n\nNice To Have\nExpertise in CI/CD pipeline development for edge deployments\n\nExperience implementing best practices to improve DORA metrics\n\nBonus if you've helped a team adopt AI-first workflows, we know this is new territory and we're figuring it out too.\n\nWhy Join Us\nAt Protex AI, you'll work on cutting-edge problems with a mission-driven team.
