This position offers the opportunity to contribute to process development, lean manufacturing activities, quality enhancements, and innovative tooling and production strategies while building a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering.\n\nWhat You Will Do:\nBe a member of cross-disciplinary teamsdeveloping and improvising manufacturing processes. Identifyopportunities for cost saving or expanded capabilities using data analysis, brainstorming, and other techniques. Help develop competing concepts and apply analytical techniques to support decision processes. Design and develop tooling strategies for new processes.\n\nAssistin research, designand development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methodsand production equipment.\n\nTroubleshoot production problems as needed. Identifymanufacturing bottlenecks and quality issues. Identifypotential design improvements and alternatives.\n\nAssist management in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality controland training.\n\nParticipate in and promote lean manufacturing initiatives.\n\nWork closely with quality engineering to facilitateprocess and quality improvements.\n\nPerform root cause analysis of situations and implement corrective actions.\n\nComprehend and leveragestatistical data with assistance.\n\nConduct lean activities with guidance (e.g. kaizen events, 5S events).\n\nDesign and conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data.\n\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field\n\n0-1 year of relevant professional engineering experience\n\nStrong written and oral communication skills: able to communicate complex technical information to all levels of the organization, able to clearly present data in written and verbal form\n\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills; familiarity of problem solvingtools and resources (FMEA, Pareto, Cause & Effect diagrams)\n\nStrong attention to detail and experience with managing project documents and producing quality content.\n\nMust be able to take initiative and work independently\n\nSelf-motivated and self-directed with high sense of urgency\n\nAble to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment\n\nStrong time management skills with the ability to successfully perform within a project framework including defined deliverables and time frames\n\nWhat Sets You Apart:\nKaizen and Lean
