fast-paced, evolving environment.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPrepare, review, and post journal entries across various accounting areas in support of the monthly close process\nPerform and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of reconciling items\nSupport a fast-paced close process, including variance analysis, flux explanations, and presentation of financial results in monthly accounting close meetings\nMaintain ownership of assigned areas of the general ledger, ensuring accounting is in accordance with U.S. GAAP\nOwn the end-to-end equity accounting process, including coordination with external administrators and advisors\nPrepare and review stock-based compensation accounting, entries, and supporting schedules\nPerform technical accounting research and support the preparation of accounting memos for complex or non-routine transactions\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, including close optimization, automation opportunities, and standardization\nMaintain and enhance documentation of accounting processes and procedures\nServe as both a control owner and reviewer for key SOX controls\nSupport internal and external audit requests, including walkthroughs, testing, and documentation preparation\nProvide functional oversight, guidance, and review support to staff accountants\nPartner with cross-functional teams across finance, operations, and other business functions\nWhat It Takes:\n4+ years of progressive accounting experience\nBackground in public accounting with exposure to publicly traded companies\nExperience working in a SOX-compliant environment\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles\nCPA certification preferred\nExperience with equity accounting and stock-based compensation preferred\nExperience performing technical accounting research and drafting memos preferred\n Strong communication skills, ownership mindset, and collaborative approach\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nSkilled in process improvement, cost control, and scalable systems\nAbility to drive
