Future classes will be available to the right candidate.\nCourse Location: In Classroom, Fremont, Nebraska\nCourse Day/Time: TBD\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nIn-classroom instructor\nTopics Covered:Describe the role and responsibilities of the EKG Technician.\nIdentify strategies to ensure appropriate patient care and safety.\nDescribe the medical and legal aspects of EKG Technology and Patient Care.\nIdentify the components of the Patient’s Bill of Rights.\nDemonstrate knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the Cardiovascular System.\nDescribe the process that occurs when and EKG is used to monitor the cardiovascular system.\nDemonstrate how to prepare a patient for EKG testing.\nDemonstrate proper placement and set up of the EKG.\nDemonstrate proficiency in the use of EKG technology.\nDemonstrate proficiency in recording of EKG wave patterns and correct usage of EKG equipment.\nAccurately calculate heart rate and identify the differences between types of rhythm regularity.\nAccurately interpret rhythm strips.\nDescribe the relationship between EKG and Myocardial Infraction.\nPerform the proper procedures for applying a Holter monitor.\nRecognize commonly used cardiac medications in relation to their effects on heart rate and their correlation to arrhythmias.\n\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum 3-5 years teaching experienceTeaching certification preferred\n\nMinimum 3 years in related field of study\nMust adhere to weekly class schedule\nWHAT WE OFFER:\nCompetitive Salary\nFlexible, Part-time hours\nFaculty Development\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nWHY PROTRAIN?\nFounded in 2004, ProTrain offers quality classroom and online training.
