The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience managing audits for the KSA & Egypt region a deep understanding of ZAKAT VAT and WHT regulations and proven ability to work closely with external auditors ensuring the accurate and timely closure of books in compliance with IFRS standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nGeneral Ledger & Financial Reporting:\n\nOversee and manage the general ledger function ensuring accuracy integrity and completeness of financial records.\n\nEnsure monthly quarterly and annual financial closings are performed in a timely and accurate manner.\n\nPrepare detailed schedules supporting each line item of the balance sheet including but not limited to fixed assets receivables payables accruals prepayments intercompany balances and provisions.\n\nResolve complex accounting issues and ensure correct application of IFRS standards.\n\nMonitor inter-company accounting & reconciliations in line with group policies.\n\nAudit Management:\n\nAct as the key liaison with external auditors ensuring audit requirements are met and all supporting documentation is provided.\n\nCoordinate and manage the entire audit process including planning execution and finalization.\n\nProactively resolve audit queries and follow up on audit findings with corrective actions.\n\nCompliance & Regulatory:\n\nEnsure compliance with IFRS Saudi Arabian tax laws and internal policies.\n\nManage ZAKAT VAT and WHT filings and ensure compliance with GAZT / ZATCA regulations.\n\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of KSA s evolving tax and financial compliance landscape.\n\nInternal Controls & Process Improvement:\n\nDevelop and implement internal control procedures and ensure compliance across the General ledger function.\n\nIdentify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements for operational effectiveness and compliance.\n\nCommunication & Coordination:\n\nCommunicate fluently in both English and Arabic presenting financial information and audit findings to senior management and auditors.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional departments and finance teams for audit and compliance matters.\n\nQualifications & Experience:\n\nBachelor s degree in accounting Finance or a related field (master s degree/CMA/CPA is a plus).\n\nProfessional certification in accounting or auditing -
