This role will provide strategic direction for learning and development while remaining connected to the day-to-day needs of our staff, leaders and L&D team.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead the development and implementation of PCU’s learning strategy, aligning learning priorities with organizational goals, workforce needs and future skill requirements.\nWork with leaders to identify learning needs, assess capability gaps and prioritize development opportunities.\nOversee employee onboarding, role-based learning paths and ongoing professional development.\nEstablish consistent training standards, resources and delivery practices, providing hands-on design and facilitation support where needed.\nDevelop and implement programs that strengthen leadership, coaching and people management capabilities.\nPartner with leaders to build coaching, feedback and employee development into everyday management practices.\nSupport succession planning and career development through targeted learning, mentoring, cross-training and other development opportunities.\nLead, coach and develop the L&D team, setting clear priorities and fostering accountability and continuous improvement.\nOversee learning resources, including budgets, systems, administration, team capacity and external training partnerships.\nEstablish measures to evaluate learning effectiveness, knowledge retention and the impact of development initiatives.\nWhat You Bring:\nEducation & Experience\nPost-secondary education in adult learning, human resources, business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nAt least five years of relevant experience in learning and development, employee training or a related field.\nExperience designing, delivering and evaluating employee and leadership development programs.\nExperience leading a team and managing learning priorities, resources and budgets.\nSkills & Knowledge\nStrong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design and learning technologies.\nAbility to translate organizational and business needs into practical learning solutions and evaluate their effectiveness.\nStrong leadership, coaching and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.\nExcellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to make learning engaging, relevant and practical.\nStrong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operational needs.\nExperience in financial services or the credit union industry is considered an asset.\nWhy You’ll Love It Here:\nWe believe our employees deserve the same outstanding care we give our members.
