And of course, we love what we do.\nSounds like your kind of place?\n\nSummary\nFor our parent company, Proximus Group, an international telecommunication company, we are looking for a proactive individual to fill in the following position: Medior Full Stack Developer, who will be working on developing and maintaining our new web shop application. \n\nYour Job\n\nYou support the design and development of high-quality backend applications, following best practices to ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience.  \n\nYou develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented RESTful APIs using Node.js and NestJS.  \n\nYou write unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks.  \n\nYou work closely with frontend developers to design and develop functional and performant APIs.  \n\nYou collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product features.  \n\nYou troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high uptime and good performance.  \n\nYou challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and unnecessarily complex or inefficient solutions.  \n\nYou create and maintain technical documentation for code changes and updates.  \n\nYou stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies and suggest new approaches to improve efficiency and productivity.  \n\nYou participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and identify opportunities for improvement.  \n\nYou participate in and contribute to the integration testing of developed features.  \n\nYour Profile\n\nYou have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. \n\nYou have 2 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js / Next.js (experience with Java is considered a plus), as well as frontend web development. \n\nYou have 2 to 3+ years of experience working with SQL and non-SQL databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and Couchbase, and with web development using Angular. \n\nYou have experience building performant RESTful APIs using JavaScript and/or TypeScript (experience with GraphQL is considered a plus). \n\nYou have experience with building and maintaining Java µservices (considered a plus). \n\nYou have experience using, building, and maintaining a standalone component library (considered a plus). \n\nYou are able to create effective documentation and write unit, integration, and API tests. \n\nYou possess strong problem-solving skills and are able to work both independently and collaboratively. \n\nYou are a team player with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. \n\nYou are fluent in English (mandatory).\n\nThis is what to expect\n\nDrive positive change with confidence, turning bold ideas into solutions to remain at the forefront of technology.\n\nKeep on learning, evolving, and building your career in a digital space that truly supports your growth journey.\n\nReal connections power real progress.
