As Lead Architect, you are responsible for ensuring that technology decisions are clear and translated to the application development teams. To ensure alignment with their business objectives, enterprise architecture principles, security requirements, and long-term platform strategy.\nYou act as an authority across multiple initiatives to enable delivery teams to move faster through clear standards, reusable patterns, and technical guidance. This role is not focused on designing individual solutions, it’s about enabling transformation, integration and modernization at scale, connecting business needs with technology capabilities, supporting engineering teams, and driving architectural consistency across the organization. On top of that the lead developer is also able to assist in coding and implementing applications in the context of lead by example.\nKey Responsibilities Architectural Leadership Understand the architectural vision and roadmap for cloud, platform, integration, and application modernization initiatives. Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards, security requirements, governance principles, and target architectures. Drive architectural consistency while balancing innovation, pragmatism, and delivery speed.\nTechnology Strategy Innovation Translate business strategy into technology requirements and architectural initiatives. Identify emerging technologies, industry trends, and opportunities that are required improve the application landscape and you translate them towards platform requirements. Continuously challenge existing ways of working and propose improvements.\nDrive the adoption of modern engineering practices and cloud-native architectures in close collaboration with the application teams. Platform Integration Enablement Support reference architectures, standards, blueprints, and technical guardrails and ensure that all teams are guided in the correct direction. Ensure seamless integration between cloud platforms, applications, security services, data platforms, and operational tooling.\nProvide guidance on hybrid-cloud, public-cloud, platform engineering, observability, automation, and integration architectures. Program Transformation Support Support large transformation initiatives from inception through implementation. Work with program managers, product owners, architects, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.\nIdentify architectural risks, dependencies, and technical constraints early. Facilitate decision making on complex technical trade-offs. Technical Leadership Coach architects, technical leads, and engineers.\nElevate architectural maturity across teams. Contribute to technical communities, knowledge sharing initiatives, and engineering excellence programs. Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of architecture talent.\nAct as the go-to person for complex technical challenges. Stakeholder Management Build trusted relationships with senior business stakeholders, IT leadership, security teams, vendors, and delivery organizations. Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.\nInfluence decisions across organizational boundaries without relying on hierarchical authority.
