The AI Engineer will work on delivery of high-quality AI products, continues improvement and experimentation and development of Prudential's AI expertise.\nJob Description:\nSandbox Platform:\nAssist in the development and maintenance of the AI Lab’s global sandbox platform.\n\nEnsure the platform is effectively used for experimenting with AI applications.\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement of the platform based on user feedback and technological advancements.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into the sandbox environment.\n\nProvide technical guidance and support to teams using the sandbox for AI product development.\n\nTechnical AI Domain Expertise:\nConduct research and development (R&D) to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, Large Language Model frameworks.\n\nProvide technical guidance and support in the AI domain to teams under incubation that develop AI products.\n\nAnalyse and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.\n\nAI Development and Quality:\nOptimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.\n\nAssist in the technology aspects of the structured AI product incubation and acceleration program.\n\nEnsure AI Products and experiments are developed in alignment with Prudential’s core risk, data protection, technology risk management policies, and regulations.\n\nContribute to the implementation of rigorous quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of AI solutions.\n\nWork on the delivery of high-quality AI products, continuous improvement, experimentation, and development of Prudential’s AI expertise.\n\nTeam Collaboration\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, AI, and business stakeholders, to integrate AI solutions into products and services.\n\nWork with external partners, including higher education institutions, start-ups, and hyperscale’s expert teams and government agencies.\n\nContribute to a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing within the AI Lab.\n\nMentor and guide junior engineers in AI and machine learning best practices\n\nTalent Development and Ecosystem Engagement\nContribute to the development of AI talent within Prudential through participation in education and training programs.\n\nEngage with the external AI ecosystem to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements.\n\nRepresent Prudential at industry events and conferences to showcase the company’s AI capabilities.\n\nWho we are looking for:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.\n\nProven experience (5 years or more) in developing and deploying AI models and algorithms.\n\nStrong technical background in data, AI, and modern cloud infrastructure.\n\nExcellent programming skills in languages such as Python, R.\n\nExperience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., LLM frameworks, Computer Vision, NLP frameworks, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).\n\nKnowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, MLOPs, LLMOps techniques\n\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
