As part of this dynamic role you will work closely with business units and other IT teams to deliver leading edge technology to enable digital capabilities of Prudential Singapore.Key Responsibilites:\nRequirements and manage expectations.\nTranslate business requirements into well-architected solutions leveraging the new and existing technology stacks.\nProvide oversight and governance on all Platform projects\nParticipate and facilitate technical discussions with team as well as all other stakeholders\nDefine and evolve technical standards and processes for both the platform and the team\nDevelops data integration, migration and deployment strategies\nBuild relationships with / between key internal and external stakeholders\nManages and mentors junior team members\nDeliver applications in accordance to relevant IT policies and procedures\nLead projects, resolve new/complex problems which may impact the application\nResponsible for the technical training & development of the team\nManages stakeholders, including influencing and persuading, as part of applications delivery and support.\nWho we are looking for:\nExpertise in Mobile App development platform and ecosystems. \nStrong sense and experience on SOLID principles \nStrong culture on Software Testing (Unit Test, TDD, BDD) \nExposure to Front End or full-stack software development experience \nExperience and affinity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP/eXtreme Programming) \nComplexity estimation / planning poker \nWillingness to do the right thing, keep it simple \nStrong background in design/development of React/Redux based systems \nStrong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning, engineering best practices, and deployment methodologies \nExperience with: \nTDD/BDD \nJavaScript - React and RN \nJava 8+ \nRESTful APIs, Vertex REST API and Microservices development (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.) \nRDBMS, SQL, NoSQL - Couchbase, MongoDB \nKafka \nEvent based systems / Functional Reactive development / Event Streams \nCode Version Control tools (git, bitbucket) \nCloud platform (Azure, AKS, OpenShift) \nDevOps (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, K8s, etc.) \nKnowledge on Salesforce is a plus \nKnowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, marketing automation, reporting, etc.) \nStrong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies. \nExpert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes \nStrong background in design/development of mobile apps, or complete software product lifecycle exposure \nComfortable with Agile/iterative project management methodologies \nPersonal Traits\nStrong sense of personal accountability \nExcellent problem analysis skill.
