We pledge to make Prudential a place where you can Connect, Grow, and Succeed.\nRole Overview:\nAs the Senior Analyst / Analytics Specialist for Distribution, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business-critical dashboards, developing semantic models in Power BI, and independently extracting and validating data from the DataHub using SQL. You will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making within the Distribution team, uplifting analytics capability, and reducing reliance on manual reporting. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving business problems with data and visualization.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDashboard Development:\nDesign, build, and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI to support Distribution performance management, sales tracking, incentives, and compensation analysis.\n\nDevelop the underlying semantic models in Power BI to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and ease of use for business users.\n\nContinuously improve dashboard usability and adoption across the Distribution team.\n\nData Extraction & Management:\nWrite and optimize SQL queries to extract data directly from the DataHub and other relevant sources.\n\nValidate and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.\n\nPerform UAT on dashboards designed by the central analytics team.\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate data extraction and validation processes.\n\nBusiness Analytics & Insights:\nPartner with Distribution leaders to understand business needs and translate them into analytics solutions.\n\nProvide ad-hoc analysis and actionable insights to support commercial planning, channel performance, and business improvement initiatives.\n\nProactively identify data, reporting, or process issues and independently develop solutions to address them.\n\nCapability Building:\nShare best practices and provide training to uplift Power BI and data extraction skills within the Distribution team.\n\nAct as a subject matter expert for dashboarding and data access.\n\nQualifications & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related).\n\n5+ years of hands-on experience building dashboards and semantic models in Power BI.\n\nAdvanced SQL skills with proven experience extracting and manipulating data from large databases (Databricks or similar).\n\nStrong data validation, reconciliation, and documentation skills.\n\nExperience working with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions.\n\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nExperience in insurance, financial services, or distribution analytics is a plus.\n\nPrudential is an equal opportunity employer.
